Rapid Prototyping & User Testing
Tailoring an App to User Needs & Behaviours
A new neo bank in Egypt wanted to understand why almost 70% of Egyptians do not have bank accounts, preferring to keep their wealth in cash. We were commissioned to do remote user interviews to speak to the banks audience demographic and understand their money habits and behaviours.

We discovered while the majority in fact did not have bank accounts, they were experienced in using popular apps such as paypal for sending money. The insights we collected helped us design prototypes rapidly based off features and functionality the users were familiar with.
We then conducted remote usability testing to see how potential customers would interact with the app. Our findings helped us to design an innovative and highly intuitive user interface tailored to the Egyptian market.

What I did
User Interviews
Virtual interviews with customers to understand banking habits.
Usability Testing
Remote testing with potential users of the neo bank to understand their behaviours.
Prototyping
Rapid production of high fidelity prototypes as insights from testing collected.
Benchmarking
Comparing others in the industry to find inspiration for the best banking features.
UX Design
Consolidating findings we designed the app to meet user needs and expectations.
The Results
Through extensive user testing and analysis, the banking app underwent a transformative design process. The results of the rigorous testing and examination revealed crucial insights into user behavior, preferences, and needs.
The team leveraged these findings to produce an innovative and highly intuitive user interface, resulting in a groundbreaking app that revolutionized the banking industry.
The app's success can be attributed to the team's dedication to the user-centric approach, which yielded a user experience that surpasses all expectations.
